NIJ student won photo investigative journalist of the year

NIJ student won photo investigative journalist of the year.

Another student of Nigerian institute of journalism PCBG Sodiq Adelakun  won the runner up position photo category of the Wole Soyinka award for investigative reporting, 2011.

However, out of about 111 entries that was received by the Wole Soyinka centre for investigative reporting Sodiq won the runner up position with his photograph caption ELECTRICITY AT ALL COST photography of a man trying to start his small generator on his window of a one story building.

For exemplary courage and outstanding reporting  of Sodiq the Wole Soyinka centre for investigative journalism award  him the  runner – up photo category of the Wole Soyinka award for investigative reporting, 2011 and was presented with cheque of fifty thousand naira and a brand new laptop.

In an interview with our NIJ correspondent Sodiq expressed his pleasure saying that ‘’ I am grateful to God almighty for making it possible for me to win the award and by his grace this is just the beginning’’

DISCIPLINE YOUR MIND

     Our mind contributes tremendously to our success; to discipline your mind is your ability to nurture positive thought within you. people who aspire to succeed but, fail due to there inability to think right if your thought are wrong you will be doing wrong ,acting wrong and not succeed at nothing and fail at everything but, if you think right you will be doing right, acting right and succeed in everything.  You can think your way to failure and unhappiness, but you can also think your way to success and happiness.

The world in which you live is not primarily, determined by outward condition and circumstances but by thoughts that habitually occupy your mind. as you think, so shall you be so flush out all odd, tired worn out thought fill your mind with fresh new creative thoughts of faith, love and goodness and you will succeed in all your endeavors. 

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

People fail to be responsible and they became a failure for you to succeed you most be ready to carry your can. Punctuality is the master key to succeed as an employee you most be punctual at your place of work this will make you indispensable to your employer. This can lead to faster promotion. Also as a student you can afford to miss class because if you are punctual you will be up dated but, if you are absent you will experience setback in your studies which cannot help you succeed.

Always stand your ground for any action you perform because you have reason backing them. Keep to what you say don’t compromise your integrity in other to be valued. Be quick to admit mistakes and slow to criticize above all keep to time because you will never find time for anything you most find time and this will usher you to the land of success.

BE AN IMPROVISE

Those who are successful person are those who utilize there resources effectively and judiciously. You most be productive in your world to succeed the basic problem of any economy is scarce resources, resources are never enough but, you have to create from the limited available wants to create unlimited wants. What this statement connotes is you have to be creative and prudent.

Always put your best into every day awake hope and create new realities. the future belongs to people who see possibilities before they become obvious, always see other peoples problem as an opportunity to succeed no one as money problem but, idea provide possible solutions to other peoples problem and you will be financially rewarded.

Discipline your mind, taking responsibility, and being an improvise will trigger you to succeed at your projection in life.
